Making a menu
selection
Down To Earth
provides several choices for making a
menu selection*:
Use any of the
choice combinations that work the
best for you.

Commonly
used Shortcut

You can access
the General menu
column from anywhere in
Down To Earth.*
The General menu
column contains menu selections and
shortcuts that make your
life easier.
Unique functions
and the respective Key shortcuts for
your
system, are always displayed in the
General Menu column.

Activating a menu
bar
Once you are in any
input window, the menu bar shown at
the top of your screen can be
activated.

Left
click on
any menu column heading and
pull down the menu
selections for a
Windows®
distribution.
|

Hold the
Control key and press
'P' (
<Ctrl-P>
) on most VMS or UNIX
systems.
|
Ctrl-D |
|
The
input window remains
on the screen, but
the menu bar
shortcuts are display
for viewing or
selection.
For
example, within an
transaction input
window
the
Records menu
column is enabled.
When viewing a report
to screen,
the
View menu
column lists the
options
available.
